This position is responsible for developing, maintaining, and implementing security tools and controls to support enterprise-wide operations. The analyst will work closely with other teams which include applications, infrastructure, service delivery, data science, operational and support functions of the organization to support enterprise IT strategy. This role works to ensure the best security practices and follow NIST framework to secure data when stored, processed, and exchanged through cloud platforms with other on-premises or third-party systems.
Responsibilities include:
Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, information systems, computer engineering or related field.
Six years’ experience in information technology with experience in IT security systems administration. At least three years of experience required in the following areas: Installing and maintain end point and next gen tools; installation and maintenance of security platforms and network equipment such as firewall IPS/IDS, routing, switching, VPN, remote access, security logging/tracing (Cisco, Fortinet, Windstream etc.). Vulnerability management platforms that include diagnosing and remediating vulnerabilities in accordance with business needs. Experience with incident response and intrusion detection is also required.
