This position is responsible for working with the team to achieve total red cell and apheresis collection goals for CBC, both at blood drives and donor centers. The Account Manager is accountable under manager supervision for the development, planning and promotion of donor recruitment activities including hosting blood drives in donor centers, supporting marketing campaign efforts in centers, managing regularly-scheduled drives at key geographic locations and working with groups to host blood drives in the community. Responsible for educating and communicating with indivdiuals about the need for blood, the local blood program and blood donation. Devleops and maintains contact with volunteers to encourage their participation.

Education:
Associate's Degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communication or related field or equivalent work experience.
Experience:
Two years of experience in sales, marketing, and/or customer service experience preferred.
Any combination of education, training and experience that has supplied the necessary knowledge, skills and experience to perform the essential functions of the job.
Licenses/Certifications
Must have a valid driver's license.
