Responsibilities

 

Essential Functions

  • Supervises day-to-day activities of mobile packing.
  • Performs competently all tasks required of MUO’s and assists as needed.

 

  • Maintains good driving record, must have MO Class E or KS Class C license and approved DOT physical annually.
  • Prepares, stocks, and organized supplies for mobile operations.
  • Ensures blood drive equipment is adequately maintained and inventoried.
  • Assists with assigning CBC mobile vehicles daily and maintains records for tacking purposes.
  • Orders, receives, inspects and records critical supplies from the Purchasing Department
  • Performs monthly QC of equipment.
  • Responsible for maintaining, tracking and reconciling monthly equipment inventory.
  • Ensures mobile equipment is provided to Bio Medical for quarterly PM.
  • Ensures staffs compliance with SOP’s.
  • Ensures Compliance with CBC safety policies and procedures.
  • Determines job assignments, breaks and meal times for staff.
  • Maintains confidentiality of personal information regarding donors and staff.
  • Handles or seeks help for emergencies that occur.
  • Responds to staffing problems and may reschedule staff to meet business needs.
  • Ensure proper equipment is available for collections.
  • Maintains prompt and regular attendance.

Other Functions

  • Orders supplies as needed
  • Serves as a role model for professionalism in manner, appearance and relationship with staff and donors.
  • Maintains confidentiality of personal information regarding donors and staff.
  • Stays current with all changes by attending scheduled in-services as needed.
  • Masters IT computer docking and submits computer equipment for repair as needed.
  • On call for Mobile Packing dept. as needed to cover in Managers absence
  • Makes recommendations to improve organizational processes.
  • Any related duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications

Education & Experience

 

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent

 

Licenses / Certifications

Class E MO or Class C KS driver’s license. Maintain valid DOT physical and medical card. May be required to obtain Class B (CDL) licenses if needed to support the department.

General warehouse environment and loading procedures

Overview

This position is responsible for monitoring the activities to ensure compliance with SOP’s.  Serves as a resource for MUO daily routine packing and set-up. Delegates duties to staff. Coordinated with DRD as needed.  Assists with activities related to evaluation and improvement process. Monitors mobile calendar and assist the logistics specialist and DRD in determining adequate equipment/mobile needs.
